Online Training Geared for Gen Y Workforce
For a delivery pizza franchise with new stores springing up in several regions of the U.S., Toppers Pizza has its hands full making sure employee training is consistent, efficient and effective. Pushing7 rose to the challenge with custom online training modules.
Our staff worked with Mark Watt, Toppers Pizza's Director of Training, to organize training topics into two modules. Together, we storyboarded the script and graphical elements. Then Molly designed a module template to match Toppers’ existing branding, complete with their mascot “creepy baby.” Next, Jay created the custom online interface called Toppers University. Then Pushing7 staff and Mark recorded the script and produced the final modules.
Because of the age of Toppers’ target audience—workers 18 to 24—we were challenged with devising a way to make training as engaging as possible. We stacked them with interactive quizzes to capture the viewer’s attention while testing their knowledge of the material. We also incorporated animated graphics, humor and role-playing scenarios to maximize relatability.
Toppers employees now have the ability to access the modules at any time from anywhere. It’s a perfect solution for their young workforce, combining efficiency and engaging content.
